Video attack from Instagram

The video trend continues to steamroll the digital world.

Instagram, bought by Facebook in 2012 for $1 million, has become a leader of the Internet’s rapidly consumable mobile video trend. With an innovation to its “Explore” tab, it is preparing raise the activity on its platform by bringing its video channels to the fore.

Video channels that are currently active at important events and concerts will soon appear in the Explore section under a separate tab, making it easy for people looking only for video content.

Facebook’s algorithm will be used

The new video channel feature bundled in the latest Instagram algorithm structure, which created great panic on platforms when announced last month, will mimic the streaming and export Facebook currently uses and be visible only to interested users. For example, if you are particularly interested in music, you can have the broadcast of a current festival appear in your Explore tab.

The Instagram video channel streamed the Coachella Festival for its duration, significantly enhancing the experience with stage and backstage images.

Instagram has heeded the trends emerging after its video streaming feature was introduced in 2013 and increased its video investments. In 2016, the video format was expanded from 15 to 60 seconds and began to be tested by advertisers and popular accounts.
